An Essex man’s body was recovered from the mouth of the Seneca Creek days after he fell from a boat in the area, officials said.
Todd Andrew Foehrkolb’s body was recovered by searchers from the Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Baltimore County Police and fire departments around 7:40 a.m. Monday. He was 57.
Foehrkolb fell from a boat around 8 p.m. Saturday after hitting a wake near Miami Beach Park in Middle River and did not resurface, the state Department of Natural Resources said in a news release. His disappearance prompted a two-day rescue effort that included drones, helicopters, patrol vessels and rescue divers, authorities said.
State officials said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
