A driver who died this week after crashing an SUV into a cable barrier at the entrance of a North Bethesda parking garage was identified as a 76-year-old Potomac woman.
Marjorie Rothschild was declared dead at the scene following the 5:31 p.m. collision on Monday in the 11300 block of Woodglen Drive, Montgomery County Police said on Friday.
Rothschild drove a Toyota Rav 4. A man in its passenger seat sustained injuries that were serious but not considered life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing and may take several months to complete, police said.
