One person was killed and another was critically injured Friday evening in a vehicle crash in White Marsh, Baltimore County Police said.

Officers from the White Marsh Precinct responded shortly after 5 p.m. to the 9400 block of Belair Road.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating.

Belair Road was closed in the area while investigators worked. Police said additional information would be released as it becomes available.
