One person was killed and another was critically injured Friday evening after a vehicle crash in White Marsh, Baltimore County Police said.

Officers from the White Marsh Precinct responded shortly after 5 p.m. to the 9400 block of Belair Road, where they found two victims involved in the crash.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Belair Road was closed in the area while investigators worked at the scene. Police said additional information would be released as it becomes available.
