Firefighters have mostly contained a two-alarm fire that broke out in Northeast Baltimore on Wednesday morning, officials said.

The Baltimore City Fire Department responded to the fire just after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the 1700 block of North Broadway, according to the department’s social media. John Marsh, a spokesman for the department, said the “bulk of the fire” was contained at the residential building in the Oliver neighborhood.

The first responders are checking for hot spots, he added. There were no injuries reported.

Officials are investigating the cause.
