A man died in a three-vehicle crash in Four Corners on Thursday night, authorities said.

The incident happened about 10 p.m. near University Boulevard West and Colesville Road and involved a vehicle that rolled into a tree, trapping two people.

One died and the other was hospitalized, said David Pazos, assistant fire chief with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, posted on social media.

The man who died was not immediately identified. The investigation is ongoing and more information is expected to be released later, Montgomery County Police said.
