Montgomery County Police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a van in Rockville Sunday evening as Harry George Kazanjian, 69, of Silver Spring.
The 2006 Chevrolet was traveling north on Norbeck Road when it hit Kazanjian at the intersection of Avery Road at about 6:30 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene, and the Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
