Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal shooting in North Bethesda, officials said Thursday.

The incident took place at about 11:37 a.m. in the 5700 block of Marinelli Road, police said in posts on X. The location is outside of the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.

The identity of the man killed was not immediately available.

Police said they do not yet have anyone in custody related to the shooting.
