A 13-year-old is charged with attempted murder in the alleged stabbing of another juvenile in Rockville, city officials said Thursday.
Rockville Police responded to the incident shortly after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Redland Boulevard, according to a statement from the city.
Officers found a juvenile at the scene whose wounds were not considered life-threatening.
Rockville police arrested the 13-year-old suspect, who is charged with attempted murder, first-and-second-degree assault and weapons charges.
A second juvenile suspect remains at large.
“Investigators have identified this individual and are actively working to locate him following an extensive overnight search,” the statement said.
