Stokely Baksh is an audience engagement editor at The Baltimore Banner, where she produces multimedia content across all social platforms. Before coming to The Banner, she worked at The Baltimore Sun, where she headed up the visual journalism blog The Darkroom, and she was an adjunct lecturer at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. Her work has appeared on “ABC World News” and PBS’ “Need to Know,” and in The Baltimore Sun, Mother Jones and the Wall Street Journal. She is also a co-producer of two independent investigative immigration projects. She lives in Baltimore County with her husband, two kids, and a pony-sized dog.
