Gibson, an attorney and historian, was personally asked to curate the new student housing complex at Morgan State University in honor of Baltimore-native Thurgood Marshall. The exhibits to his legacy are located on each floor of the building for students to ponder.

Students are essentially living in luxury apartments and a museum dedicated to the life and legacy of Marshall. When you first enter there’s a huge mural that was painted by a senior of the university. There’s also a timeline that dates the years of Marshall’s personal life, and on each floor of the building there’s a prominent photo and fact of his professional life as students get on and off the elevators.
