Laila Milevski was a news designer and illustrator in The Baltimore Banner’s newsroom. She moved to Baltimore in 2017 to pursue a Master's degree at Maryland Institute College of Art, where she taught as an adjunct for several years after graduating. Before joining the Banner she made illustrations and comics at ProPublica to support their investigative reporting.
