Baltimore State’s Attorney Ivan Bates has the highest approval rating of any local leader in the city, with 57% of respondents either strongly approving or approving of his performance, according to a new survey from the Goucher College Poll in partnership with The Baltimore Banner. Pollsters contacted 711 registered voters in Baltimore by phone from Sept. 19 to Sept. 23. The survey has a margin of error of 3.7 percentage points.
